Overview
The student will engineer virtual reality applications for spacecraft trajectory design, supporting both the development of front-end immersive user interfaces and back-end numerical algorithms for the computation of spacecraft trajectories. Candidates will be engaged with trajectory planning and optimization in NASA- and DOD-relevant application domains, such as the cislunar space.

Responsibilities will include user interface and algorithm development; planning and leading UX studies; development of visualization theory and data analysis.
Fundamental knowledge of computer programming as well as basic user interface development experience is highly desirable.
Knowledge of software and software languages such as C/C++, C#, Python, Unity3D, and Unreal is desired.
Hours Per Week + Pay Rate
- 10 - 15 hours / week
- This position is paid based on candidate experience
- With no previous experience, the position may include an unpaid probatory period
